MILK COLLECTION AND MEASUREMENT



The collection, measurement and distribution of milk is an essential activity of the manufacturing industry. It is a highly complex operation, as the activity varies depending on the season, and involves multiple entities spread out geographically and a variety of resources, both fixed and mobile. Furthermore, (European) community standards have been established to regulate the activity.
In the early 1990s, aimed at minimising the complexity of the milk collection, measurement and distribution processes, in view of the demands established by the community standards, TECNOCON developed the SIRTEC family of milk measurement systems to complement the classic systems that it also produced. After three decades dedicated to and monitoring the needs of the market, a new SIRTEC version was released.

Management/selection of behaviours of the tanker and identification of the tanks of the producers

Thanks to the benefits described above and also the big advantage of the low maintenance costs of the equipment, TECNOCON has taken the development of the software equipment to the next level, in order to allow the conversion of old and competing equipment at extremely low costs. Not only do the operators prefer working with equipment they know, but also by unifying everything into one kind of equipment the operation is economised, by minimising the spare parts and the learning necessary for the technicians and operators.
