Sustainability is increasingly relevant in the corporate world. In addition to environmental certification, the Quality Management System (QMS) is fundamental to the success of our company, based on the ISO 9001 standard, it aims to improve processes, increase customer satisfaction and guarantee the quality of products and services, it involves:
Planning: Definition of goals and strategies.
Process Control: Continuous monitoring and adjustments.
Internal Audits: Conformity assessment.
Continuous Improvement: Identification of opportunities for improvement.
Obtaining environmental certification is an important step for TECNOCON, which aims to stand out in the market, contribute to sustainable development and ensure a healthier future for the next generations. It is a commitment that goes beyond the fulfillment of legal obligations, and is also a demonstration of responsibility towards the environment. Click on the image to download the Certification PDF.
A social audit focused on safe, ethical and sustainable business, Sedex is one of the world's leading organisations promoting compliance and best practices in safety, ethics and sustainability while ensuring the working conditions of employees in the supply chain. TECNOCON has been a Sedex member since 2014 and periodically conducts SMETA-4P audits covering the areas of environment, safety and health, business ethics and social responsibility.
TECNOCON implemented in 2003 a Quality Management System and has focused over the years on the demand of the market and, consequently, of its Customers, meeting their expectations, namely regarding the continuous improvement of its products and services.
TECNOCON has joined the EcoVadis platform, a global sustainability assessment tool in which, annually, it has to highlight continuous improvement in the areas of environment, safety and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. A signal to customers that TECNOCON takes responsibility seriously in these areas.
It is with great satisfaction that we were recognized for our commitment, demonstrated through the submission of our first annual data filling in the SIBS ESG Portal. As a sign of recognition for our pioneering spirit, we were awarded the "ESG Reporting Pioneer" seal. This seal symbolizes not only the commitment to ESG reporting practices, but also stands out as a distinctive milestone in the market and before our stakeholders.
Sustainability is not just a trend, but a necessity. It is increasingly a fundamental topic for business continuity in today's world. The efficient management of natural, energy and financial resources is essential to reduce waste and negative impacts on the environment, reduce operational costs and generate long-term value. TECNOCON increasingly seeks to adopt sustainable practices in the development of its products and the provision of services to its Customers, being aware that only in this way will it be better prepared to face market challenges.
The consumption of natural resources and electrical energy, the reduction of waste production and an increase in its recovery are a constant concern in TECNOCON's daily activity.

The consumption of natural resources and electrical energy, the reduction of waste production and an increase in its recovery are a constant concern in TECNOCON's daily activity.
Water consumption
Water is a natural resource of great economic, environmental and social value and must be protected and managed effectively to guarantee its preservation in the future.
At TECNOCON, although this resource does not play a fundamental role in its production process, it is seen as a resource to be preserved. To this end, measures have been implemented to reduce the impact on consumption, such as reusing water used in testing/testing equipment, partially replacing natural grass with synthetic grass, thus reducing the water used in watering green spaces. .
Electric power consumption
Electricity consumption is constantly monitored by TECNOCON, not only for the economic value they represent, but also for the impact they have, whether through the consumption of natural resources or the emissions they represent for the production of electricity. Analysis of the evolution of this indicator reveals a trend towards reducing energy consumption. At the end of the 1st quarter of 2024, TECNOCON concluded the increase in power of its UPAC from 20 kVA to 120 kVA, which will allow TECNOCON to become autonomous in a short space of time using only renewable energy to carry out its activities that take place in its headquarters in Vale de Cambra, as well as replacing equipment with more energy-efficient ones.
Fossil fuel consumption
The consumption of fossil fuels is important due to the CO2 emissions it represents, as it contributes to the greenhouse effect and global warming of the planet. Actions have been taken by TECNOCON to reduce CO2 emissions, namely by replacing its car fleet with electric/hybrid vehicles.
Waste production
TECNOCON has always been concerned with reducing the amount of waste sent for disposal, always aiming for separation at source, through constant awareness raising among all employees. The solutions sought have as their first objective the reduction, reuse and valorization of waste generated in our activity. Elimination is only resorted to when there is no recovery solution. Partnerships were established with waste operators, maximizing the rate of recovered waste.
